Descripción de la Plaza/nWe are searching for an organized, motivated Accounts Payable Manager to increase department efficiency and provide strong leadership to our Accounts Payable department. The Accounts Payable Manager will ensure that the department operates smoothly, You will also serve as a liaison between the Accounts Payable department and other departments within the organization, communicating with staff at all levels. This person will need to integrate smoothly into an existing department structure of a fast-growing company,
To succeed as an Accounts Payable Manager, you should be focused on optimizing department processes and ensuring that all departments follow established procedures. You will need to ensure that all payments have been correctly approved, and analyse individual expenditures before passing them to the Payments Team. You should be knowledgeable, analytical, and pay attention to detail. You will need excellent communication skills as you will be in contact with staff at all levels, including senior management.
Accounts Payable Manager Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily department activities associated with international and local banking, ensuring that all payments are properly approved, and escalation of approvals where appropriate.
Ensuring observation of compliance rules and regulations.
Monitoring distribution of funding throughout a complex international financial structure.
Developing, implementing, improving, and enforcing policies, and department controls to increase efficiency and security.
Building good relationships with senior management.
Accounts Payable Manager Requirements
Experience of financial procedures within an international banking environment.
Extensive knowledge of Accounts Payable procedures essential, and basic knowledge of accounting processes helpful.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with computers, especially business solutions.
Good Excel skills
Experience in international banking and related compliance requirements.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to analyze information and processes.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Fully bilingual.
