AMP Supply Planner Costa Rica location GJL 070 ROLE SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring successful performance of the supply and delivery chain for assigned portfolio of products within the region. Participate in Global and Regional forums as regional point of contact for assigned portfolio. Drive improvement initiatives related to supply & inventory management to support achievement of commercial goals for the region and markets in scope.

- Accountable for Supply Assurance of assigned product portfolio (typically larger and/or more complex portfolio than Supply Planners)
- Accountable for Inventory planning and coordination of inventory deployment for assigned product portfolio
- Support completion of Product change lifecycle management activities requiring supply input
- Develop and maintain relationships with Brand Supply Leaders and Manufacturing Sites, serving as point of contact to clarify any queries or action plans related to assigned products
- Represent markets and BU in forums (global, regional) for assigned portfolio of products
- Drive completion of supply-related or other assigned improvement initiatives
- Share accountability with AMP Team Lead to drive resolution of escalated issues

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Assurance (for assigned product portfolio)

- Continuously monitor and ensure product supply of assigned product portfolio to represented markets
- Review and identify current and future supply changes and supply risks (short supplies or excess inventory)
- Drive replenishment changes with plants, communication and resolution of supply issues with stakeholders using standard processes (e.g. e-alerts, weekly calls with market/plants, BSL engagement, etc. )
- Escalate risks to AMP Team Lead as needed (based on urgency, impact, complexity…)
- Review forecast changes, new business opportunities evaluation, and identify significant demand risks.
- Proactively understand demand drivers and supply implications from forecast changes
- Supply Scenarios development
- Partner with AMP Team Lead to drive:

- Resolution of escalated risks with stakeholders
- Resolution of escalated issues in Supply chain agreement (SCA)
- Changes in transportation mode

Critical Shipment Monitoring (for assigned product portfolio)

- Coordinate pre-shipment and support post-shipment issue resolution with Intercompany Operations(I/O) or market teams as required
- Interface with IO and GTC and DC’s as needed, Example: import licenses, customs, quality, release, etc are generated on-time

AMP and Market / Plant interactions

- Raise Supply Alerts coordinated with Demand Manager
- Detailed MPS preparation AdHoc
- Execute consistently AMP to Market Supply/Demand Review meetings (Supply Concerns US SI)
- Maintain regular AMP to Plant Review meetings and S&OP Meetings with the sites
- Ensure clear communication with Supply Outlook report(OSCAR)
- Support Business SO&P Slides preparation AdHoc
- Generate KPI Reports (By Plant)

Inventory management and deployment (for assigned product portfolio)

- Develop inventory targets and budget for assigned products
- Drive continuous optimization of inventory and working capital
- Analyze inventory performance versus budget and develop action plans to achieve targets
- Perform root cause analysis of inventory deviations vs. targets and of inventory drivers and define improvementplans
- Minimize inventory write-offs. Monitor and manage inventory shelf-life/expiry dates, and actively improve processes to avoid obsolescence write-offs
- Ensure in market inventory is actively managed and expired or short dated stock is appropriately, securely, compliantly and expeditiously disposed of on a physical and financial level
- Develop and negotiate SCA (supply chain agreement) with stakeholders

Product change management (for assigned product portfolio)

- Proactively and continuously support product change activities (new launches, line extensions, Artwork changes, discontinuations, loss of exclusivity etc) securing achievement of business objectives, service levels, costs and working capital requirements

Point of contact for BSLs and Sites

- Serve as point of contact to BSLs and manufacturing sites for any questions related to supply issues, resolution plans, inventory for assigned set of products

Represent region in global and regional forums (for assigned product portfolio)

- Serve as region’s representative in global / regional forums to provide input and share expertise on supply related topics for assigned product portfolio

Improvement initiatives

- Own and drive completion of supply or other improvement initiatives

Key qualifications

- Relevant experience required in Supply and logistics management, ideally in pharmaceutical industry or other industries where it is required to align customer requirements with sales, marketing and finance:

- 5- 7+ years of relevant experience for Senior Supply Planner

Language requirement

- Strong verbal and written English required

Technical skills required:

- Experience In/Understanding of pharmaceutical industry commercial dynamics, trends and regulatory processes
- Experience In/Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end to end global product flows
- Understanding of Sales/Commercial/Marketing functional areas
- Continuous improvement: Leadership of cost, operations and business improvement projects for Logistics&Supplyprocesses
- ERP/SAP System implementations
- Implementation of New business/distribution models
- Local Logistics market knowledge (LSPs, transport)
- Exposure to business finance

Key capabilities

- Ability to quickly grasp and understand complex situations involving many moving parts
- Expertise in use and leveraging of ERP systems and reporting tools (E.g. SAP APO, Business Intelligence tools, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Powerpoint …)
- Strong analytical skills are required - ability to observe patterns and trends in data, determining root cause of issues and drawing proper conclusions from analysis
- Ability to make good decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience and judgment
- Ability to manage, track and drive resolution of complex issues as well as improvement initiatives in parallel
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with team members including guiding new or junior team members
- Ability to build strong professional relationships across geographies and at different levels of the organization including senior leadership
- Ability to trade-off priorities within portfolio
- Ability to build deep knowledge of portfolio of products and mfg. plant capabilities
- Ability to proactively identify supply risks – through data analysis and market demand characteristics
- Oral and written communication skills to present complex issues, providing adequate level of information required at different levels and for different stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Ability to work in a complex matrix organization and within a multi–cultural environment, balancing needs of different stakeholders, including senior leadership
