** Location**: San Jose, CA 95125 or San Francisco, CA 94105 (hybrid - 3 days onsite)

**Duration**: 10 months

**Contract Type**: W2 only

**Pay Rate**: $70.00 - $78.57/Hour

**Functions**:

- The purpose of the role is to support the financial services integration of a recently acquired company.
**Responsibilities may entail**:

- reviewing and modifying policies, procedures, and user-facing agreements; supporting the creation of new policies; coordination with audit personnel on audits; collaboration with tax and business teams regarding tax withholding issues; and facilitating the implementation of an escheatment policy.
**Qualifications**:

- US-licensed attorney with at least 7 years of legal experience, including 3 years of experience in the financial services regulatory space.
- Experience with state laws on advances, lending, loan brokering, and/or money transmission a plus.
- Familiarity with consignment, auction, and marketplaces business models is also desirable.
