**JOB TITLE**: Back End Engineer (JAVA)

**Overview**:
Our client is looking for a very skilled Back End engineer - JAVA to join their growing team. The role is completely remote with daily stand-up meetings. Looking experience in writing tests, issue identification and resolution in support of the release. Drive continual improvement in the codebase to enhance stability and performance (error handling and knowing when to refactor)
**Responsibilities**:
- Meeting with the software development team to discuss project definitions and goals.
- Design and construction of our REST API.
- Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API.
- Writing clean, scalable Java code.
- Designing software database architecture.
- Developing Java-based user interfaces.
- Prioritizing and distributing development tasks.
**Qualifications**:
- 3+ years of experience in object-oriented language: JAVA
- Experience using frameworks such as: Spring boot, JUnit, Hibernate, JSF.
- Design experience with REST API's
- Experience in development platform: AWS, Linux or Web Service APIs.
- Demonstrated experience coding and designing in multiple environments.
- Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills for process development or problem
resolution.
- Agile Environment experience.
- English level: Professional.
- Nice to have: JavaScript, React
- Location: India or Latam
