We focus on providing specialized outsourcing technology services to clients in the USA and Canada.Job SummaryWe are looking for Cloud Data Engineer to join us inCosta RicaandPerúoffices towork directly with a successful US company in the Technology industry.Cloud Data Engineer will deliver successful data initiatives by providing skilled technical expertise and fostering deep collaboration in an agile software development environment.Key Responsibilities:Work with Technical Product Owner to understand requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to deliver business value.Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture within AWS cloud services.Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.Keep client's data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions.Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.Qualifications and Skills:At least 4+ years of experience working with:Big data tools: Kinesis, Glue, S3, etc.AWS business intelligence service: QuicksightRelational SQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDBData pipeline and workflow management tools: AWS Glue, SnaplogicAWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, RedshiftStream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures and data sets.Experience building data visualizations for prescriptive, predicative or diagnostic insights.Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores.Experience with agile software development frameworks, such as Scrum.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.Nice to have:Object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc. (nice to have)Benefits we offer:Medical Insurance (Costa Rica) / EPS (Peru)Work from homeFlexible SchedulesAmazing organizational cultureChallenging projects using the latest technologies with clients from the US and CanadaTechnology and Soft Skills Internal TrainingOnline Courses from Udemy and PluralsightPowered by JazzHR
