Your Responsibilities:
This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:
Identify, define and deploy key projects and initiatives to address performance gaps and continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery.
Assess system capabilities and define program of work to rectify gaps and issues identified on an ongoing basis formulating business case for process and system changes.
Resolve and reply to queries from users and stakeholders within Service Level Agreements.
Maintenance of the GSK Research & Development Valuation Tool ensuring values are updated per the employed process/methodologies and any IT issues are managed.
Perform analysis of data to determine and support the determination of a value for customs duty purposes and to assign the most favourable Incoterm.
Ensure changes to regulations either globally or locally are identified and embedded into GSK’s approved valuation methodologies.
Proactive management of customs valuation related risks and GSK approved Incoterms in accordance with GSK’s strategic priorities.
Operate effective governance, processes and measures are delivered in accordance to regulations and business needs.
Our Trade Compliance area characterizes to ensure compliance with all customs and trade regulations globally and minimize risk associated with non-compliance e.g. fines, penalties, disruption to supply chain, reputational damage and potential imprisonment.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree in Customs, International Trade, Logistics
3+ years of experience in customs valuation in a manufacturing, Research and Development, and commercial environment with Incoterms and commercial shipments knowledge.
English level: Advanced
Microsoft Office Knowledge (Word, Power Point and Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
However, if you have the following, it would be a plus
Transfer Pricing or Taxes Knowledge
Power BI knowledge.
Data Analysis experience.
