The Opportunity This role is a top strategic priority for the Digital Media GTM Applied Data Science and Analytics team. We are looking for Data Scientist -Analytics to help shape the future of our Mobile business, product, and platform. This person will enjoy working with rich data sets, groundbreaking technology, and the ability to see insights then turn them into actions that will drive the success of our business across Creative & Document Cloud products across the customer journey (acquisition, monetization, engagement, and retention). This is a fast-paced business environment that will draw on the superior quantitative analysis & technical skills, working with large data sets, superb communication, and ability to use analytics to drive/influence business decision making. They need to be a self-starter, have a ‘can-do’ attitude, have a proven sense of urgency, and able to work with a team first mentality. A successful candidate will help the achievement of our Digital Media Go-To-Market objectives by: Applying expertise in quantitative analysis and data modeling to gain deep insights into customers behaviors/journey across surfaces, short and long-term trend, and present impactful recommendations to grow the business Acting as a thought partner to the GTM business leads, Sales, PM, PMM and other partners and influence decisions through storytelling of data driven recommendations, analysis, and experiment results. Defining and monitor key business metrics, understand the root causes of changes in metrics, designing and evaluating experiments, forecasts, and sets the business goals Building reliable data sets, reports, a dashboard to monitor and analyze critical matrices. Working on big data platform (Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Spark, etc.) and automating analyses and authoring pipelines via SQL and Python-based ETL framework and ensure data quality Using data science/ML techniques (e.g. Regression, Classification, Clustering, Association, etc.) to tackle critical business challenges and drive recurring, scalable, and programmatic business unlocks (e.g. Personalization & Targeting, Prediction, Recommendation, etc.) What is needed to succeed! Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Math/Statistics, Economics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience 3+ years of hands-on applied data science experience, doing quantitative analysis/statistical modeling on data sets to tackle intricate business problems Experienced at telling stories with data and communicating it to partners at all levels to influence key decision making Strong proficiency in querying and manipulating volumes of data sets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languages (Hive/Hadoop) Experienced in building and maintaining data pipelines using big data technologies on large scale data sets Development experience in Python or other programming languages Understanding of statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing, statistical inference, regressions, ML) Experience building and training statistical/data science models Experience with statistics in SaaS or Subscription Business model environment, direct experience designing, and executing A/B tests. Experience in Data Visualization tools, preferably, Tableau and Power BI Experience working on multiple QA data sources Preferred Skills! Experience in Mobile SaaS analytics on iOS or Android. Proven familiarity with in-app purchase mechanisms on either platform Experience with third-party mobile analytics platforms/tools (e.g., Branch, App Annie, Apple App Store Connect, Google Play Console, etc.) Experience implementing AI/Data Science algorithms using modern programming languages/frameworks (Python, TensorFlow, etc.).
