This position is responsible to provide timely contract execution, accurate pricing set-up, price discrepancy troubleshooting and root cause resolution across all commercial divisions, using Oracle EBS and SalesForce.
Duties and Responsibilities
Process contract activations and executions in CPQ System (Configure/Price/Quote) and administer customer pricing in SalesForce and Oracle for assigned product division
Execute best practices for customer contract pricing setup
Ensure timely research, root cause resolution and response to pricing inquiries from internal and external customers in specified turn-around time, with monthly price discrepancy report as one metric to measure success in driving down price discrepancies
Maintain an understanding of contract requirements to ensure all applicable contract obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner
Identify and present to Management continuous improvement opportunities related to the contract activation and execution process using analytics, Excel and PowerPoint
Interact directly with internal and external customers, Directors of National Accounts, and field sales regarding contracts (i.e. pricing, products under contract, contract requirement, etc.); provide any ad hoc reports and analyses as requested
Support contract renewal process in partnership with Commercial Contract Specialists
Collaborate and partner directly with the Corporate Sales organization and where required, provide direct customer interaction to ensure effective contract execution
Cross train on other product division requirements to provide back up support to the other Contracts Support Specialists
Work on ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering or 3+ years of relevant experience in a corporate legal/contracting department in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years’ experience in a sales support, contracts support, or legal support role
Experience working with service contracts
C1 English proficiency
Ability to interpret contract documents
Basic accounting or finance understanding; ability to grasp the larger picture/how all pieces interact and affect one another; good business acumen
Advanced Excel skills for analytics required or ability to learn these skills
Experience working with Oracle or similar ERP
Experience working with SalesForce or CRM
Experience working with and supporting sales and sales contracts in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred
