DevOps Engineer/Developer
Key Responsibilities
The DevOps Engineer will drive DevOps practices and provide solutions aligned with strategic automation program initiatives. The candidate will work across a range of platforms and should be comfortable learning and trying new things on a daily basis. Experience in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet are a big plus. In addition to automating and re:engineering processes, the candidate will work closely with various technical SMEs and constantly evaluate new products to prepare Citi for whats next. Key skillsets are being autonomous, creative, a self:learner, and most importantly the ability to challenge the norms or the way its always been done.

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
:
4+ years experience with one of the following languages. Python, Ruby, GO or Java. Experience in multiple is preferred.

2+ years experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt. Experience in multiple is preferred.

2+ years Intermediate experience with Jenkins, BitBucket, and Artifactory.
:
2+ years Intermediate experience in one of the technology towers (Linux, Database, Middleware, Storage)
:
Must be proficient in API and data standards such as REST and JSON
:
Frontend technologies such as CSS, JS, Bootstrap and react
:
Databases such as MYSQL, Postgress, MS SQL Server and MongoDB
:
Must have understanding of modern design patterns such micro frameworks.

Proficiency in Apache Foundation software such as Ignite, Kafka is a plus
:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast:paced ambiguous environment is a must
