Requisition ID: FIN002354 The Finance Master Data Director is responsible for the design and implementation of information stewardship strategies for Finance Master Data.
This includes Accounting and FP and A data and partnering with the various organizations that use this data as well as offering an opportunity to learn about MSDs business processes by understanding and fulfilling data requirements.
Strategies are to be developed within the context of global business processes and associated master data necessary in order to simplify, streamline and standardize how Finance delivers quality financial information to its stakeholders.
The position will also be involved with several strategic projects within the Finance Organization and Merck Globally.
The incumbent is expected to establish and maintain positive business relationships across the organization, be an effective problem solver, and demonstrate strong leadership skills. The incumbent will lead a 30+FTE global team located in Costa Rica, Czech Republic and Malaysia BSC as well as Genpact operations.
