Positions in Risk Management lead the development of credit, operational, enterprise, and fraud policies designed to profitably grow the portfolio, while ensuring excellent customer experience.
These policies utilize mathematical models and other techniques to understand and predict customer behavior.
At the director level, the employee typically leads a team of 3-6 employees.
Has overall control of planning, staffing, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.
Establishes strategic plans and objectives.
Influences policymaking.
Specific Responsibilities:
Build and lead a high performing team that serves as a "Center of Excellence" for third party relationship governance pertaining to CFR's most critical, global data vendors

Drive operational excellence, and robust governance of data usage across various use cases within the company.
Partner closely within team & with other CFR (Credit Fraud Risk) colleagues to identify process improvements and drive process enhancements & prevention strategies to strengthen the control environment and mitigate operational risk

Drive Third Party Lifecycle Management, Regulatory guidelines Contract Terms & Conditions and Information Security:

- Support TLM for data evaluations and contract execution
- On-going AEMP 10-required Monitoring
- Vendor Scorecards, SLAs, Contract Strategy
- Third Party Security Maintenance Assessments
- Exit & replacement strategy

Streamline and support data evaluation engagement model

Support foundational vendor changes, AEMP 10 - 70 requirements related to information security and subscriber code management/maintenance, execute on Data Rationalization Framework & Off-boarding

Ensure effective/compliant management of multiple third-party relationships

Advanced degree (e.g., MS, PhD, or MBA) or relevant work experience

Significant understanding of US consumer regulations, particularly Regulation V and FCRA and operational risk

Knowledge of third party risk management requirements

Ability to transform, adapt and evolve their/team's role with business needs

Clear, effective written and oral communication skills and ability to influence across all levels of the organization and strong organizational, prioritization and collaboration skills
