Requisition ID: SHA001667 MSD's Business Service Center (BSC), located across three regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia), are responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of standardized, global financial processes. The BSC : Americas in San Jose, Costa Rica will be responsible for the execution and delivery of a broad range of financial services and processes across MSD business divisions and markets for the Americas region.
The Disbursements Analyst will be responsible to support the execution of Procure to Pay (PtP)
settlements expense management, control sox documentation, etc. Additionally, this position will be required to maintain a high standard of performance, analysis and follow up of all activities on the market (s) assigned ensuring all entries into the customer ERP system are completed and accurate.
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Employees reimbursement process, credit card program (Visa, Amex).
Payroll payments process and monitor.
Payments rejected and tracking on end to end processing
Custom and Tax payments according with local regulation in each country
Upload payments process into Bank platforms (local : foreign payments, wordlink, pre:format)
Calendar and payment program configuration.
Be accountable for the accuracy on each entry
Achieve required accuracy on all defined KPIs and SLA's
Through daily problem resolution, identify and propose process improvement
Collaborate with various MSD organizations to resolve process and/or technical issues across multiple ERP systems
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity
Qualifications
Main Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance (or career in process).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company preferred
Business Level fluency (oral and written) in Spanish and English languages
Experience using ERP system and SAP or JD Edwards
Experience using Bank Platforms
Experience working in an organization providing services across multiple markets or geographies
Controllership / Internal controls knowledge SOX based
Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Works effectively in a fast:paced, dynamic environment, under pressure and with a high degree of professionalism
Team player with a focus on collaboration
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required
Demonstrated commitment to education and professional development
