Job Level Specific Duties * Ensures accurate reporting by reviewing high:risk journal entries and supporting documentation and periodically key account reconciliations. * Prioritizes activities to meet close deadlines as assigned. * Ensures that the internal financial reporting requirements of the company are met. * Balances books periodically and prepares profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements as necessary. * Maintains receipts and disbursement reports. * Coordinates, develops, issues, reviews and updates business unit accounting and operating policies. * Develops project plans and schedules, including requirements, tasks, work assignments, resources, milestones, review points and reporting of project status. * Responsible for preparation of dashboard and management reporting. * Assist Auditors by providing requisite supporting documents for the transactions picked up for audit.
Typical Years of Experience * Typically requires 4:6 years relevant experience. With at least minimum of two year team handling experience * Team handling experience is mandatory. Minimum Education and Certifications * Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. * Professional certification in accounting is preferable. Skills * Advanced knowledge of relevant accounting principles (i.e. GAAP). * Exceptional data analysis skills. * Advanced knowledge of systems and automation tools (including Excel and Access, etc.). * Team handling experience. Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions * Ability to physically perform general office requirements. * Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
