Senior Finance Manager
Forecasting:
:Responsible for implementing the standardized forecast and financial reporting processes. This
:includes financial modeling, P and L Manager interaction and analysis of operational trends.
:Analyze monthly operating results in comparison to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and prior
:projections, and effectively communicate key factors that require management attention.
:Reviews and analyzes monthly P and L reports and holds discussions with P and L management
:regarding forecasting, budget versus actual, short:term forecasts, etc.
:Gain an understanding of expected results and proactively investigate variances to provide
:analysis/explanations as appropriate.
Analysis and P and L Management:
:Identify areas impacting profitability and prepare analyses to highlight factors needing improvement (such as Timesheet Compliance, Accurate Time Reporting, Cost Recovery and Expense Reporting).
:Responsible for overall maintenance of the General Ledger including performing any necessary adjustments or reclassifications.
:Proactively escalates issues to P and L management as appropriate.
:Focuses on process improvement and streamlining.
Delivery Management Support and Ad Hoc Analysis:
:Support the achievement of business goals by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets,financial reports and financial trends.
:Understands business drivers and provides operational insights.
:Works closely with P and L management to ensure they have a full understanding of the financial impact of their activities and of remedial actions that might be taken.
:Work with internal organizations like corporate functions and other finance teams to resolve pending issues.
:Coordinates monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements to ensure deadlines are met.
Responsible for overall financial management of the Costa Rica company's financial management
including:
:Overall Costa Rica operations compliance with Company financial policies and procedures.
:Ensuring accurate and timely monthly payroll and related tax and/or Social Security filings (currently administered through third:party provider).
:Timely and accurate payment of invoices and expense reports utilizing our Global BusinessShared Services team.
:Coordinate all tax matters with the NTT DATA, Inc. corporate tax department.
:Ensure appropriate accounting records and reports are maintained and filed with the tax andother Governmental authorities as required by law.
:Support local audit as required.
:Timely completion or review of reconciliations as determined by the controllership office.
Required Skills and Experience:
:Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Corporate Financial Analysis (Managementlevel experience a plus)
:8 + years of MS Excel (edu + professional)
:Experience with financial reporting tools for large organizations (i.e. SAP/Envision)
:Licentiate degree in an accounting/finance field
:Must possess bilingual communication (written and oral) skills in both Spanish and English
