Request/obtain statements from major suppliers on a weekly/monthly basis as well as verify outstanding balance with small suppliers/FBO.
Reconcile supplier statements to the details of AP aging, payment history, matching workbench.
Timing differences are listed on the reconciliation for further research and resolution.
Reconciliation is provided to the supervisor/manager for review and approval.
