As the Global Logistics and Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics process, managing global procurement activities, and cultivating strong vendor relationships to support the company's operational efficiency and growth.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry. The management objectives are to increase Globalgig's gross margin related to procurement of equipment, software and support, accessories, and optimization of order process and realized project management efficiencies.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in global logistics, procurement, and vendor management. Telecommunications industry procurement experience a plus.
- Understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance.
- Effective project management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement and supply chain management software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Microsoft tools especially Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
