As a Security Analyst at Cloudera you will be a key contributor to our Information Security team collaborating on internal security initiatives, monitoring the security of Cloudera corporate infrastructure and Cloud. Responsibilities
- Analyze threats and vulnerabilities that may affect Cloudera
- Work with developers, system/network administrators, and other colleagues to ensure secure design, development, and implementation of applications and networks in traditional data centers and public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Develop training materials for security awareness and deliver security technology training, such as emerging trends of security risks, latest security tools and methodologies, information security concepts
- Participate in the Security Incident Response Team
- Identify security risks and develop solutions to eliminate or minimize risks
- Define, implement and maintain corporate security policies
- Update and gather information related to InfoSec
- Audit departments for process, procedure and policy compliance
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related technical field
- Communicate concepts in elegant, concise, eloquent form to management and to cross-functional departments or teams verbally, in writing, and through pictures or diagrams when appropriate
- Excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation and interpersonal skills focused on motivation and positive attitude. Highly self-motivated, directed and change oriented. Very strong customer orientation
- Use appropriate interpersonal skills to give information to and receive information from coworkers and clients in a tactfully and professional manner.
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of Information Security
- Ability to self-learn and maintain a strong proficiency in technical tools, countermeasures and techniques.
- Document evidence and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Basic understanding of best practice control frameworks and regulatory requirements, e.g. ISO 27001/2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, and a team player
- Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CCNA, CISA / CISM, CEH certification or similar
