About the role
Internal Job # OMC00001 We seek hard working, motivated, deadline driven individuals to develop interactive web sites. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience writing custom HTML and CSS, plus basic JavaScript experience. Expertise writing semantic, modular Front-End code using HTML5, CSS3, and W3C coding practices a must. Understanding of concepts like progressive enhancement, mobile first and future friendly design highly encouraged. Experience with Sass, LESS and HTML5 Boilerplate required.

Responsabilities

Develop new user-facing features
Collaborate with other team members
Develop and maintain applications using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Required skills
Intermediate to Expert-level Javascript skills including deep experience with libraries such as Angular and jQuery
Experience using JS to invoke PHP based web services
Rock-solid HTML5 /Pug/CSS/SASS (expert level)
Demonstrated expertise with Media Queries and Responsive Web Design
Experience with Gulp, Grunt, Node
Pixel-perfect attention to detail recreating responsive layouts from Sketch and Photoshop files
Solid Knowledge of CSS3 and JS based animation
Git expertise
CMS template experience (WordPress and Drupal)
Must be able to take ownership of projects
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Robust knowledge of cross browser testing, hacks and fixes
Excellent debugging skills
Must be able to handle multiple projects at once
