It Support Specialist

**Acerca de la vacante**:
**Funciones del Puesto**:

- Able to work closely with the IT department in a multisite company (GERMANY/ USA).
- This position may also offer the possibility to provide support for our subsidiaries in the Germany and USA.
- Help control by monitoring system processes, working to resolve system issues and following established escalation procedures as required.
- Monitor, execute and support the operations installation of new software releases/updates by providing high-level technical guidance to operations personnel.
- System and Application administration.
- Maintain controls and organizes inventory of network and workstation hardware and software updates.
- Guarantee the security and privacy of computer networks and systems.
- Analyze, report and act upon/resolve alerts generated by the monitoring tools.
- Act as first line of contact for all Trouble Ticket issues, and maintain the systems running for all internal

customers.- Follow-up on change requests, facilitation of maintenance via internal procedures.
- Write reports and maintain systems utilities to ensure 'network knowledge' protected and available to IT Management in GE.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, problem solving, and an ability to learn quickly.
**Requisitos del Puesto**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management.
A combination of education, technical education, and relevant experience will be considered.
- Desirable knowledge in the following systems: VMWare ESX, Veeam Backup & Replication AND MS-SQL

Server.- Preference living around Cartago.
