**Essential Job Functions**
- Design and Implement API Driven Micro Services/Web Services (REST)
- Participate in Design and Code Reviews
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze thread dumps/heap dumps
- Design, develop and maintain software using java and spring framework technologies
- Act as principal engineer and lead small teams on engineering projects
**Education & Experience**
- BS in Computer Science
- 3+ years of Java J2EE experience
- Experience using advanced SQL, expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring JPA & Hibernate
**Key Skills & Abilities**
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking
- Amazon Web Services (SQS)
- Understanding of VSCode, GIT, Bitbucket, GitLab
- Ability to communicate both written and verbally in English
