We’re seeking a JIRA/Confluence Administrator, based in our Santa Ana, Costa Rica office. In this role, you will be responsible for administering a large on-premise instance of JIRA and Confluence. Also, you will be responsible for operational excellence around these services used by our internal customers. Responsibilities include setting up new projects/spaces for our customers, developing mechanisms to integrate access control, managing workflow schemes, screen schemes, issue security schemes, custom fields, reporting and gadget integration as well as engaging with a cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative solutions.Sound interesting? Driving your own projects, from design through planning to execution-

Planning and coordinating feature improvements and upgrades around JIRA/Confluence services-

Improving the user experience by analyzing and improving tool’s availability, efficiency, capacity, scalability, security and performance-

Troubleshooting and resolving problems-

Developing and maintaining tools as needed

What you will need to succeed:
-

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field-

3+ years of experience as JIRA/Confluence Admin or an equivalent combination of certifications/experience-

Experience in supporting applications with a focus on customer experience-

Strong sense of ownership, be extremely reliable and have an excellent level of systems and technical knowledge backed up by hands on experience-

Ability to manage multiple priorities and get the right things done at the right times in spite of the fact that the workload is larger than you are-

Skilled in solving problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context-

Aptitude to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with your team and with other groups-

Being able to translate detailed technical problems into communicable messages-

English level: B2+ (80%) minimum
