Job Description Summary:
Position overview:
- Support effective implementation of Control Systems and Quality Assurance in order to assure high level of compliance in legal, norms and TCCC requirements.
- Support compliance of GMP in laboratory and operational areas.
Location: Liberia, Guanacaste
Function related activities:
- Responsible for the less complex activities of chemic, physical or microbiologic analysis of incoming materials and finished products; prepares standard solutions, keeps control of results and stocks of materials and reagents, perform daily equipment verification's and sampling of Raw materials for analysis. Individual contributor representing the most common entry point for this career stream; support monitoring in operational areas in terms of Process Quality; works under direct supervision with capacity to self-planning of designated duties.
- Support implementation and validation of new methods approved by TCCC.
- Lead or support 5´s in Laboratory.
- Perform sampling according KORE, Quality, Food Safety and regulatory requirements. Drive forklift.
- Support and perform low complexity analysis and approval in SAP of Water, Packaging, Ingredients or merchandises according KORE and regulatory requirements.
- Support ISO 17025 accredited methodologies that has been trained.
- Evaluate Raw material, intermediate and finish products that could be affected in Quality of food safety to define final disposition or reuse. Participate, support or generate Cost reduction Projects (optimization, reduction of time, reduction of energy or water consumption, etc.)
- Support PQA initiatives in order to measure compliance.
Education requirements:
- Tech. Chemist or similar education level.
- Previous experience in similar roles
- Fluent Spanish and Basic English
