POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES General - Work in an P2P operations environment
- Perform work in compliance processes & guidelines
- Manage workday and complete work in an efficient & effective manner. Recognize & meet deadlines.
- Use Procurement & Financial systems & tools to perform assigned work
- Understand the key P2P roles & know the right person to contact to in performance of work
- Work with all parties in a professional manner & act with a high standard of customer service
- Understand corporate compliance requirements and implications to work
- Maintain a high ethical standard to support the objectivity of the overall procurement process
Purchase Requisition review & Purchase Order placement
- Perform work in accordance with existing process and/or guidelines
- Review, understand, confirm and/or validate information included as part of a Purchase Requisition
- Engage with the Requistioner, other Procurement resources, Finance or the supplier as necessary when reviewing a Purchase Requisition
Purchasing Vendor Maintenance – adds & changes
- Perform work in accordance with existing process and/or guidelines
- Review, understand, confirm and/or validate information included as part of a vendor maintenance request
- Engage with the Requestor, other Procurement resources, Finance or the supplier as necessary when reviewing a Vendor Maintenance request
Issue management & resolution and Customer service & support
- Perform work in accordance with existing process and/or guidelines
- Resolve quality or service issues efficiently & effectively; escalate & inform as necessary
- Engage with the Requisitioner, Procurement resources, Finance or supplier as necessary when handling an issue
- Understand the overall support model & know when to refer issues to the appropriate resource
Act with a high level of professionalism & customer service to help achieve a satisfactory outcome
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Enrolled on an associate Bachelor's degree preferred.
1-2 years' experience in related roles such as Procurement, Share Service Center, Accounts Payable, Customer Service.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Fluent (Intermediate-advance) in English.
End user computer skills including Microsoft Office & ERP Systems (Ariba and SAP preferred).
Professional oral and written communications skills.
Organization and time management skills.
Attention to detail skills & ability to maintain attention to detail in a high volume operational work environment.
