Your Role and Responsibilities
The Learning & Knowledge (L&K) Studio's Learning Design Leader manages a globally distributed team of learning experience and instructional designers, visual designers, and project managers who design effective learning and performance improvement solutions. They lead and coordinate the team's participation in needs analysis for training solutions; content development; solution design and development (including assessment items, storyboards, materials for delivery, instructor guides, etc.) and continuous maintenance activities. The Learning Design Leader is responsible for ensuring that team members possess the appropriate knowledge and skills to participate in these activities both efficiently and effectively. They stay informed of emerging industry trends/opportunities (e.g., Generative AI's and automation's potential for learning design and development), anticipate their potential impact on the team, and systematically work to integrate innovation into the team's working processes. They manage a substantial portfolio of projects, and work hand-in-hand with L&K's Learning Portfolio Leaders to continuously qualify incoming projects and (re)prioritize work.
