Logistics Operations Business Analyst
Job Description
The Costa Rica Logistics Operations Business Analyst will report to the Costa Rica Site Logistics Manager, as part of the Logistics Global organization. The position is accountable to provide support and sustain CR Integrated Warehouse systems, tools and infrastructure. In the system area is should oversee Intel system connectivity to contracted Supplier systems to ensure timely resolution of key system related issues. This role works closely with Intel IT, Supply Chain groups and Supplier IT/Analyst counterparts to drive system performance within expected level, disposition of system enhancement requests and establish business continuity plan (BCP) when systems are down. Collaborate with system solution partners to channel system performance issues for resolution and act as a liaison to coordinate system scheduled and unscheduled downtime request. Support projects such as new warehouse start-up, lead and manage system introduction/upgrade, be the owner for system configuration requirement, support new business processes exploration and development of strategic projects. Drive/ lead system continuous process improvement and digitized solution at Site, and/or Global Logistics. This role is also responsible to be the liaison with the industrial engineering community at Global Logistics and with Supplier counterparts, supporting warehouse capacity analysis (order processing, inventory management, receiving/shipping) and layout optimization. It is also responsible for the Logistics infrastructure enhancement projects, contracting the installation of equipment new or upgrades and working closely with facilities teams.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
- Warehouse Business Process Acumen for Finished Goods and Raw Materials.
- Business and technical acumen in Distribution & Logistics systems.
- Expert consultant on tools, systems, and engineering; provide input to system/process design; and/or provide content knowledge support and troubleshooting.
- Leadership capability: continuously build up leadership and influence capability working with multiple stakeholders to drive business results

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
-Bachelor or a master's degree in Supply Chain/Information Technology/ Business Management, Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or related field with at least 7 years of relevant working experience in the following areas:

- Logistics Operations warehousing and transportation
- Warehouse Management Systems, software deployment and/or optimization
- Facilities layout and capacity optimization
- Data Analysis for problem solving and continuous improvement

- Fluency in written and spoken English

-Travel may be require

HIGHLY DESIRED
- Program management experience and/or Certification/knowledge in/of Project Management tools and methodologies (e.g. PLC, PMP)
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and/or Leadership of Lean journey/roadmap(s)
- SAP system knowledge and B2B connectivity (Sales and Distribution, Warehouse management, Material Management, Transportation Management)
- Experience working with remote teams, building effective business relationships
