About the role :Works cross:functionally to coordinate and organize the process development activities ensures efficient and effective transfer of product into production.

Youre responsibilities will include

:Coordinates the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
:Lead function for the Heredia Site responsible for the PD Department and metrics reporting to the PD Manager in Costa Rica
:Serves as a key resource or expert, participating in setting technical direction for the function and/or organization.
:Ensures visibility and closure of process issues (e.g., yields, cost, capability, etc.) per PDP milestones.
:Evaluates external technologies and strategically identifies opportunities to implement them internally.
:Reviews and assesses processes for potential patent opportunities.
:Serves as a key contributor and reviewer in technical reviews.
:Provides on:going mentoring and technical guidance to managers, other engineers, technicians, and functional groups.

:Supervise technicians and engineers.
:May serve as a representative or liaison to other BSC sites or external organizations, boards or committees.

What were looking for

:Licenciaturein Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Related Field.
:Desirable Master degree in related areas.
:Minimum of7 years' experience within medical device environment or similar.
:English level: Above 90

Preferred Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, APQP or similar tools

-ASQ Certified

-Strong problem solving skills

-Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects

-Knowledge of materials (and associated properties) for medical devices
