Manager- Solution Engineer External Supply

ROLE SUMMARY

The colleague in this position supports the delivery of process and technology improvement projects/initiatives and global sustainable and integrated solutions for External Supply

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with users to define user requirements, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
- Reviewing and analyzing solution enhancement requests to determine complexity and provide resource/cost estimates.
- Developing user and technical specifications to support development of approved solutions.
- Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of short
- Manages own time to meet objectives and plan resource requirements for projects across the division
- Contribute to the design and delivers solutions that meets the critical needs of the business and supports value realization
- Supports projects, process improvement initiatives and ongoing enhancements and ensure they are driven by business value globally, legal and/or regulatory requirements.
- Follows compliance of solutions developed and implemented to ensure risk management of the business processes.
- Exercises own judgment leveraging knowledge and experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree and 5 years of relevant experience
- 5 years' experience in IT system design and/or delivery, 3+ years in Pharma
- Excellent project management skills
- Quick learner.
Demonstrate initiative and ownership.
- Ability to operate in a global multi-cultural environment of time zones and requirements
- High degree of business process acumen understanding the life cycle of product creation (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return).
- Demonstrable experience in software development lifecycles using agile principles and DevOps practices
- Experience writing Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, and Test Scripts.
Experience for HP ALM Quality Center a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Processes and Pharmaceutical background is preferred
- Knowledge of management reporting requirements and functional design
- Knowledge in SAP Master Data module (including Material Master, Master Data Governance (MDG), Bills of Material, Enterprise Change Management (ECM), Workflows, Environmental Health and Safety module of SAP)
- Knowledge or familiarity with the production support process, including tasks, escalation routes, communications, and other related activities
- Proven track record of a successful team lead and solution design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with business and technical people alike
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of management
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
