Requisition ID: FIN002311 Within the Global Business Services (GBS) Technology, Data, and Analytics organization, the incumbent is responsible for the qualification, data analysis, data accuracy and change control for Master Data. Working independently, the incumbent utilizes SAP knowledge, business processes knowledge and SOPs to solve issues in relation to vendor master data and collaborates with other processes. Communicates and interacts with other Operational and Information Stewards to ensure fit:for:purpose data and to resolve issues regarding master data. Responsible for qualification and classification of data ensuring that all information is accurate and complete. In addition, offers recommendations to enhance workflow and increase efficiency.
Main responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of all vendor master data and process:related policies and procedures in order to effectively interface with internal and external clients and to pro:actively comply with audit requirements.
Audits MDM operational stewards work to ensure compliance with SOP for key controls over sensitive fields and information.
Reviews and analyzes system and passive data governance reports to ensure high quality data.
Supports departmental report and metrics generation.
Monitors data, analyzes reports and tracks specific activity to ensure records are synchronized. Acts to resolve all issues and discrepancies.
Support other MDM stewards, by providing cover when unavailable
Provide Operation Overflow support (Training, Confirmations etc.)
Ensures compliance with data privacy.
Performs other activities and special projects as directed by the MDM Vendor Lead or MDM Vendor Sr. Specialist.
Qualifications
Required
A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.
Bachelors Degree in a business concentration (Accounting, Finance, Order Management, or Procurement)
Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes including end:to:end process use of data and lifecycle of data (creation to use to inactivation).
Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Business:level English and Spanish language skills (speaking and writing)
Teamwork and collaborative focus, vendor service oriented.
Ability to function in a high volume setting with tight deadlines.
Attention to details and accuracy focus
Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of SAP required
Preferred:
Pharmaceutical industry experience is an advantage
