We are looking to hire a Talented Order to Cash SME to ensure the core Cash Application process, and supporting tool set (eIPP / Autobank etc.), utilized by the credit services teams globally are constantly reviewed for performance and opportunity to improve and leverage the functional asset through a constantly changing operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Keep an up to date tracker of adoption at market level/ review regular reports to identify trends in usage
- Measure Cash Application automation rates and lead Celonis functional specialists in developing measurement use cases and health of process reporting for consumption at senior level.
- Periodically review core supporting systems functionality and identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement
- Review operational reporting and usage within business teams where relevant, understanding stakeholder needs and implementing reporting improvements as necessary.
- Lead process improvement initiatives as a result of route cause analysis and outcome of automation
- Support and lead review work of cash application process and functionality including workshops leveraging other tools like Celonis
- Support resolution of remedy tickets and escalation where required
- Responsible for all cash application related documentation, including BPSDs, GSOP, Self Help Articles, training documentation and DCFs
- Gatekeeper for Strategy changes to ensure consistency and appropriate development of process and functionality
- Provide steer and council at regular Super User sessions to promote process and functionality
- Drive a network of capable Super Users to drive and leverage the process and functionality by gathering future requirements from users
- Embed a regular governance process to review and discuss with GPO, Process Director and Operational Performance Leads steps that may be required to drive further improvement or enhancements
- Support and attend regular service review meetings with Product Owner and 3rd party providers - Serrala, EDD, CitiBank etc.
- Work closely with EVO Product Owner and functional teams to drive improvements and recommendations forward for enhancement of process and functionality within the appropriate governance structure
- Ensure GFS Operation Centre and GFS Hub team members are utilizing the processes and functionalities of FSCM in a standard manner
- Provide BAU support to GPO O2C team as required

Application of Knowledge

- Understanding of core principles of end to end cash application will allow the individual (if external) to appreciate how the process works within GSK environment and ERP systems
- An individual who has been responsible for cash application will appreciate the importance of applying cash in a timely and reconciled manner
- Having a grounded understand of the core process and principle will allow the individual within this role to validate process improvement, highlight inconsistencies and deviation from standard and look for opportunity to further improve the process and functionality

Problem Solving & Innovation

- A key objective of the role is to drive efficiencies, leverage the process and tool and ensure that the end users globally are getting the most from the deployed processes and functionality - in order to execute this, the individual will require good working knowledge of cash application, appetite to collaborate with business users and high areas of opportunity and improvement in order to reduce cost to serve
- The functionality that supports cash application is very niche and will require an individual who is willing to learn or has had experience utilizing the type of functionality that has been sourced for GSK.
- Cash Application is an area of the business that is resource intensive and therefore innovation and quick wins to reduce cost to serve or improve the overall end to end process is essential

Interaction

- Ability to work with the operational teams and their respective management to deliver the desired results
- Ability to work with the Product Owner and technical teams to help facilitate resolution of remedy tickets
- Ability to work in a project environment and lead delivery of key initiatives and improvements whilst keeping key stakeholders informed through effective, planned and structured communication

Impact

- As with all specialist roles within the O2C GPO team, the purpose of this role is to be globally facing, in-tune with the operational hubs and markets and ensure the process and functionality is utilized as designed whilst looking at every opportunity to improve and reduce cost to serve
- The GPO organization is a recognized organization within GSK business functions and is seen as the custodian of process and functionality to drive the business forward
- This role is an excellent step up for a candidate currently working in O2C operations and who has a desire to grow and develop in the Process Ownership space.

Must Haves:
Bachelors Degree
Extensive Experience in O2C or Credit Management
