Intel Costa Rica is looking for an Operations and Planning Manager for the Costa Rica Volume Lab Engineering (CR VLE). The successful candidate will be responsible to enable the Product Readiness process to ensure on time and effective Power On's , manage the team to organize and schedule Product Development Engineering (PDE) work priorities and engineering tool requests to be executed accordingly, respond to mid-range capacity request (~6 months view) integrating operational shifts structure (24/7 environment) with proper safety conditions, product quality, and commits delivering.
Responsible to enable the continuous improvement maintaining effective labor and tool utilization. Establish systems to operate with the best control and cost efficiently.
Must be customer obsessed, understand the specific biz unit needs, adapt and responding quickly to the changes and requirements. Must build strong collaboration and trust with peers across the network, different biz units, technology development, site's and relevant business partners.
Must be able to apply LEAN methodology and cultural attributes to eliminate waste from systems, providing solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Must have passion in developing people and promoting diversity in the group to make the Laboratory a Workplace of Choice with a productive culture and diverse & inclusive environment. Will be accountable for the organization stability and health also by setting the right leadership tone with ethics and controls.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
? Advanced English level.
? The candidate must have a BS Or MS degree in Industrial Engineering or related Semiconductor Technical field (Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science), with 10+ years experience. Out of these 10+ years' experience:
? 7+ years of experience in Manager Positions, proven experience leading teams that accomplish operational and technical objectives through continuous improvement. Proven record in people management with positive feedback and development plans.
? 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, especially in manufacturing and planning operations.
Soft Skills / Behavioral Traits:
? Demonstrated team building/leadership and collaborative skills.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all levels of management.
? Ability to work in a dynamic environment and build consensus across organizations.
? Ability to synthesize complex information into clear messages and decisions.
