Platform Engineer

We create large scale web-based application suite/solutions with advance internet and database technologies to ensure Intel's leadership in product development & silicon technology. We are looking for candidates who are creative team players and can successfully complete tasks from various disciplines.

Key responsibilities: Designs, builds, and integrates applications and platforms to support Intel's business needs. Responsible for application packaging deployment that meets IT standards. Responsible for understanding various client and/or server architectural blueprints, operating system build technologies, system patching, system management & auditing; automation, as well as server build processes. Designs and appropriately builds out all environments, which includes use of external application landing zones (DMZ), Network Load Balancing (NLB), Storage Area Networks (SAN), Microsoft OS and SQL clusters, and data encryption. Provides these services on both internal and externally facing applications, and interacts with customers, IT partners, system architects, product managers, design engineers, service and support teams, and other system users who require input regarding their planned or existing system.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the following:
- Agile practices
- Software methodology
- Windows and Linux
- Database like MSSQL/SSAS, MYSQL or mariadb.
- Development or support of Java based applications and other open software.
- Integrating JAVA or other applications.

Preferred Requirements:

- Experience Power BI or any other equivalent visualization or business intelligence tools.
- Elastic and Redis technologies.
