Requisition ID: GEN000696 This is a temporary position MSD's Business Service Center (BSC), located across three regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia), are responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of standardized, global financial processes. The BSC : Americas in San Jose, Costa Rica will be responsible for the execution and delivery of a broad range of financial services and processes across MSD business divisions and markets for the Americas region.This temporary position is in charge of developing systems, tools, and macros around current and planned processes. These projects will make use of VBA and VB.NET to deliver a user:friendly interface for extracting and logging data. The use of Microsoft Office products, including Access, Excel, Project, and Outlook, is necessary for automation and data manipulation. This position will also support MSD Robotics Automation Program (RPA) using systems such as UiPath, ABBYY FineReader, etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support existing systems, tools, and macros. Extensive documentation required for each project.
- Develop interfaces for departmental SharePoint sites
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, analytic and critical thinking skills
- Organize large amounts of raw data to ease analysis for project managers and management including the use of analysis tools such as Celonis, Spotfire, etc
Qualifications
Main Requirements:
Currently enrolled and pursuing an engineering degree in Computer Science or related field as an advanced student.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Access, Excel, Project, and Outlook, is required
Problem solving and analytical skills with a proactive management style to implement
Team player with a focus on collaboration
Familiarity with web design concepts and development best practices
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required
Business Level fluency (oral and written) in Spanish and English languages
Proficiency with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and VB.NET
