Program participants will have the opportunity to work with senior procurement leaders and participate in various key procurement initiatives!The Procurement Internship program affords participants an outstanding chance to create results, quickly gain credibility and develop a strong company network over 10-12 weeks.Internship Assignments may include projects in:- Sourcing Data Analyst- Procurement Excellence- Supplier Development Engineer- Sourcing Category Leader- Buyer- Indirect Category Management- Direct Category Management- Supplier Risk Management**How will you get here?****Education**- A student actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree; preferred majors: Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management or other related or prior military experience- GPA of 3.2 or greater**Experience**- Related work or internship experience helpful**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**- Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in Procurement or Operations- Strong leadership and team-building skills- Strong analytical skills- Must be fluent in Spanish/EnglishAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 80,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
