About the role:
-The Production Manager is responsible for Planning, organizing and coordinating all aspects related to the productive process.
Your responsibilities include:
-Coordinate Quality Engineering and In Process Quality Engineering areas engineers functions and activities.
-Schedule, plan and supervise production requirements. Oversee the efficient use of equipment and materials. Support cost reduction projects, whether on materials, processes, or standards, among others. Support and/or lead process, equipment and products transfer processes.
-Define production objectives, policies and goals. Maintain good relations with personnel under his/her supervision. Coordinate, along with the supervisors, production scheduling and meeting goals proposed for the year, as well as provide the necessary support to Manufacturing Engineers in continuous improvement through projects and initiatives from all personnel.
-Support employee:safety oriented initiatives: rotation programs of line personnel, and the use of safety equipment in the production area, among others.
-Excellent communication with all levels of the organization.
What we are looking for:
-Licenciate degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Field Related
-Desirable Master degree in related areas.
-Minimum of7 years' experience within medical device environment or similar.
-English level: Above 90
Preferred Qualifications:
-Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, APQP or similar tools
-ASQ Certified
-Strong problem solving skills
-Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
-Knowledge of materials (and associated properties) for medical devices
-Protocol and report generation.
