**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of embedded quality testers and test automation engineers in San Jose, Costa Rica.
The management aspects include career planning, goal setting, performance assessment, coaching, performance improvement, compensation, conflict resolution, and other people management tasks.
- Collaborate with product managers, usability, development, and other software supporting teams to ensure high levels of product quality.
- Drive day-to-day delivery, development, test, coordination, and supporting activities in a larger, global engineering organization.
- Grow and evolve our quality practices and align with other high growth teams
- Mentor and develop your team in good testing practices

**ABOUT YOU**

**Core Competencies & Demonstrated Success**
- Minimum of 5-6 years of quality management experience in a product delivery organization leading a team of 5 or more.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Excellent planning, estimating, and scheduling skills
- Strong mentoring, supervisory and team building skills.
- Strong automation skills and understanding how the frameworks work together and are best used
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, OpenStack)
- Knowledge of web services (REST, Web Sockets), Single Page Applications (SPA), SQL and No-SQL Databases.
- Experience with DevSecOps and supporting tools a plus

**Qualifications**

BSEE/BSCS or equivalent experience
