Resource Analyst We are seeking an experienced professional with a thorough understanding of resource management operational processes and standard methodologies within a professional services organization. As a recognized authority and leading contributor within resource management, the Resource Analyst will provide consistent high quality and innovative resourcing leadership. The Resource Analyst will perform varied and complex duties and tasks requiring independent judgment in order to staff project roles with the best-fit consultants in the most advantageous timeframe for customer success. The Resource Analyst will be responsible for presenting available internal and external partner resources to fit project demand and budget, as well as coordinate offshore resources with the Global Delivery organization. The Resource Analyst will effectively partner with and influence services consulting managers and client delivery managers to maximize revenue opportunities, achieve the highest labor utilization, and increase customer satisfaction. The Resource Analyst will use knowledge of Adobe Consulting procedures and methodology, proven staffing practices, and creativity to solve a wide range of problems. The Resource Analyst will understand required consulting skill sets across all supported Adobe product and service lines. The Resource Analyst requires understanding of the data, methods and tools available to support reporting and provide detailed analysis in terms of open requirements, bench, availability, labor forecasting, project staffing mix of resources, skills coverage, and management of burn rate. The Resource Analyst will offer solutions and/or alternative options to resolve staffing challenges and escalations

Responsibilities:

· Serve as the point of ownership and execution for resource requests, booking confirmations, scheduling assignments and conflict resolution

· Execute and maintain resource scheduling and assignments in the Professional Services Automation tools

· Provide insight and reliability around consultants’ schedules and availability

· Manage and schedule weekly staffing calls with consulting services management

· Partner with consulting services management to understand assigned consultants’ skill proficiencies, associated experience and career goals, training/cross-training needs of resources

· Responsible for data integrity related to assigned requirements (i.e. start dates, staffing owner, skills details, status, candidate feedback)

· Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing awareness and staffing needs

· Provide accurate and timely reports and analysis covering resource demand and availability, labor forecasting, skills capacity and partner/subcontractor usage

· Proactively identify resourcing issues and make recommendations for resolution

· Demonstrate foundational knowledge of consulting skill sets across all supported Adobe product and service lines

· Review trends and provide analysis on key resourcing metrics, under/over-utilized resources, and potential recruiting needs

· Understand policies regarding partner usage and operate within the guidelines; identify opportunity for partner usage to increase staffing options

· Support ad hoc resourcing reporting as requested by leadership

· Collaborate with consulting services managers on resourcing roles and responsibilities, processes, policies and rules of engagements as necessary

· Follow and contribute to the best practices set forth from the Resource Management Office

· Conduct business in a manner that provides value and instills confidence in the Resource Management Office functions

· Recommend process improvement initiatives for the Resource Management Office

Essential Skills and Experience:

· 7+years of resource management experience within a professional services organization

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

· Experience in public sector staffing, specifically with regards to federal contracting requirements and security clearances

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Proficiency with MS Office applications, Excel/Pivot tables experience

· Power user-level experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools, experience with Salesforce or Financial Force PSA preferred

· Understanding of services financial and operational management, including forecasting, order management, revenue management, cost management, margin management, invoicing, revenue recognition methods

· Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, including the ability to research and simplify complex situations

· Self-motivation, strong work ethics and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Ability to influence others while simultaneously building strong and productive relationships

· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines

· Ability to be diplomatic and firm when necessary in order to drive business results

· Detail oriented mindset, agility and adaptability

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines

· Ability and willingness to perform ad-hoc and other tasks as assigned
