Primary Responsibilities
:
Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy and support enterprise:level Appian based business process management applications.
:
Translate business process software requirement specifications into Appian process model prototypes and solutions.
:
Identify, propose, evaluate, estimate, and drive solutions considering people, process and system impacts.
:
Develop and use library of reusable Appian components that can be leveraged across processes and workflows.
:
Interact with Appian consultants for technical design discussions and issues resolution.
:
Deliver projects with AGILE software development methodologies.
:
Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
:
Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or other related field or equivalent work experience
:
7:8+ years' of experience in software development.
:
Certification, knowledge and work experience with at least Appian version 7.x or higher.
:
Strong experience in the design and implementation of Business Process Management based solutions using Appian BPM software. Hands:on active experience include:
:
Design of role based access control Appian components
:
Development of Records and Reports
:
Implement Producer/Consumer of Web Services
:
Design of expression rules, constants, and query rules
:
Handling Appian Packaging and deployment
:
Application of Appian Best Practices
:
Knowledge on Appian Smart Services
:
Knowledge of business process modeling and optimization techniques, including orchestration of modeled process
:
Ability to analyze complex problems, process critical data, establishing facts and drawing quality conclusions.
:
Experience in version control tools : GIT and Stash.
Skills and Knowledge
:
Graduate degree or advanced studies.
:
Experience in business process modeling as it integrates with Appian BPM, Appian 7.7+, Appian Smart Services preferred.
:
Knowledge of Java and SQL is an added advantage.
:
Strong understanding and experience with AGILE software development methodologies.
:
Ability to work well under pressure, tight deadlines and with ambiguity on projects.
:
Experience working and collaborating with distributed teams.
:
Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
