3M is seeking an Accounting Analyst for our RTR Organization. This position will be located in Belen, Heredia as part of our Global Service Center in Costa Rica. Job summary:
Person hired for the Analyst role will play a key role providing accounting services, such financial information, analysis and guidance to different customers among the organization ensuring financial data integrity and accuracy and participating and eventually leading project teams.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Prepare and analyze financial information
- Preparing and processing a variety of Journal Entries
- Align to established KPI’s, SLA’s and operational metrics.
- Variances explanation to cross functional accounting teams
- Handle and develop solutions for different inquiries coming from customers.
- Identification of efficiencies that will lead to savings in financial resources and time.
- Participate in project teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Student of finance/Accounting or related area.
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Proactive
- Work Under Pressure
- Team Player
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail skills
- Customer Focus and quality-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills
- Adaptable to different circumstances and dealing with ambiguity skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP working knowledge.
