**Summary/Objective**

As a Software Delivery Engineer, you will join an industry-leading organization and be engaged in the full lifecycle development of the most advanced products and services solutions.

**Essential Functions**
- Setting up new instances for customers in our AWS platform
- Maintain existing instances, setting up monitoring, troubleshooting performance and functional issues, patch upgrades, major upgrades, customer migrations and various other tasks necessary for supporting Micro Focus SaaS customers.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
- Identify and document repeatable demand activities and support the SaaS SOC and other teams who will execute them.
- Provide technical feedback to Product Marketing and R&D, and assist Tier 2 Support by providing technical and customer domain expertise
- The SaaS Engineer is responsible for establishing work environments for the ADM SaaS customers along with debugging and investigating problems and failures within the environments
- The SaaS Engineer interfaces with DBAs, Network Administrators, Application Consultants, Client Managers and customers to handle multiple ongoing activities.
**Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge in Networking and Databases
- Entry/Mid-level knowledge in Linux
- AWS experience - Advantage
- Deep Oracle/PostgreSQL knowledge - Advantage
- ITIL Certification - Advantage
- Scripting and automation knowledge (Jenkins, Python, Ansible, bash scripting) - Advantage

**Personal skills and qualities**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Able to multitask across different accounts and prioritize tasks
- Resilience and resourcefulness when solving complex problems
- Experiencing working with customers
- Organized and used to work/create documentation
- Able to support customers through long upgrade processes

**Education (degree) and professional experience required**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience
