**Job Description**:
**Your Career**
Palo Alto Networks is currently recruiting for a Sales Compensation Analyst within the Human Resources organization reporting to the Sales Compensation Manager.
The Sales Compensation Analyst will work alongside a team of experienced Compensation Analysts responsible for the administration of monthly commissions and payments in accordance with the Palo Alto Networks Sales Compensation Plans.
This position will have to have a hands on approach in Sales Compensation issue resolution with the sales employees and other business partners.
This position will also help support the operational audits and SOX controlled audit, as well.
This role will support several business organizations to help resolve any Sales Compensation issues.
**Your Impact**
- Participate in the roll out of compensation plans to the sales force, preparing supporting documentation
- Assist in researching and responding to Sales employees ServiceNow submitted questions
- Training Sales and Sales Operations employees on the details of the compensation plan and design
- Conduct meetings with Sales and Sales Operations employees on all aspects of compensation inquiries
- Assist in the monthly preparation of commissions forecasts, accruals, and payments for domestic and international sales organizations
- Perform SOX control checks, and related audits, reconciliations, and remediations in accordance with our internal audit procedures
- Ability to work cross functionally and effectively interact with other departments
- Provides ad-hoc compensation and commission analysis, modeling of proposed compensation plans and reporting as required
**Qualifications**:
**Your Experience**
- 3+ years of experience in finance/accounting/sales operations/commissions/payroll or related experience
- Advanced spreadsheet skills required (lookups, charts, reports and pivot tables)
- Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be organized, detail oriented, thorough and accurate - Must have the ability to work under pressure and deliver against tight deadlines with complete accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and comfortable with large data-mining/analysis
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
