**About the role**:
As a **Senior QA Automation **you will have to active attendance in everyday meetings including stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming sessions etc.
Understanding the functionality and writing test cases based on ACs.
Execution of manual and automated test cases.
Logging of defects and bugs.
Following up on logged defects and bugs with the team.
Executing regression and integration tests as needed.
Attending the deployments and post deployment validations.
Some of your essential day-to-day job duties and responsibilities will include:
- Create, automate and execute different types of tests.
- Create and maintain test data for automated tests.
- Assist the development team in evolving the product's continuous integration pipeline.
**Our Requirements**:
- 3+ years experience working in a QA Engineer role in a SaaS company.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn the ins and outs of our product.
- Deep knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, PlayWright, etc.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages (Node.js, Typescript, Python), databases (MongoDB, Postgres) and tools (Jira, GitHub, TestRail, Postman).
Experience with GraphQL and Storybook is a plus.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test suites for new and existing APIs/UIs.
- Performing functional, non-functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Collaborating with other team members during the investigation and reproduction of defects that impact our customers.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality.
- Ensuring and monitoring the reliable operation of our automated test suites.
- Supporting automated test updates to our CI/CD pipeline.
- Stay up to date with the latest QA methodologies and technologies, and implement them as appropriate.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, identifying areas for improvement and helping to implement changes.
