Researches and implements policies and procedures to ensure the organization's awareness of and impact on legislation; identifies proposed legislation and issues which may affect the organization; proposes policy on governmental relations for management approval; may serve as an official representative of the organization for contact with officials; creates or recommends new procedures or changes to standard approaches. Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in specific area; ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.Position Overview:

Site Operational Excellence Leader (SOEL) provides leadership and strategic direction for sustainable growth on an increasing complex environment identifying opportunities to manage, plan and implement improvements to support future business requirements providing flexibility to the operation. The scope of responsibilities also includes enabling development of the desire winning culture in the new state of the art manufacturing facility, through a people plan to include capability building, high performance teams, organization design, communication and agile, productivity and innovation environment.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

- Understand the business environment, strategy and people implications around building a new facility from greenfield to operate in a high technology, productivity environment.
- Coach the teams in Growth mindset, principles and behaviors, approaches and self-organization.
- Inspire high performance through effective goal setting and performance measurement.
- Lead and develop the whole team assuring a safe place to work and a healthy environment to fulfil current and future Business needs.
- Work with technology leadership to incorporate practices next steps for existing processes.
- Work with Leadership Team to establish cross-functional, long-standing teams as needed.
- Define, facilitate and lead the development and implementation of Operational Excellence strategies, programs and Program Management Office (PMO) to build Culture and capabilities including mindsets and behaviors in the site.
- Define and implement effective training, mentoring and coaching strategies and programs for employees to build organizational capability, ensure corporate and regulatory compliance and achieve organizational performance.
- Facilitate continuous reduction in waste, downtime, setup and cost

Education Requirements:

- University / Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Preferred Post-graduate degree, MBA.

Related Work Experience:

- Supply chain and operational leadership roles in manufacturing operations in food, pharmaceutical or chemical industry 8 years

Functional Skills:

- Change Management.
- Track record of executing business results in a supply chain environment.
- Previous experience in Operational roles within Concentrate Plant or equivalent organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Executing in a complex portfolio / business.
- Excellent English and spanish spoken and written skills.
- Strategic Thinking Skills
