Join our Global Simplification & Process Automation team at our newly established Global Service Center in Costa Rica, from where we deliver process simplification and automation services to 3M business operation teams. You will be a part of an expert team who will solve business problems using latest technologies.
Your team will take active part in the following activities:
- Understanding 3M processes and identifying high value opportunities for simplification and automation
- Learn and become expert in automation and process management tools
- Conduct E2E solution development activities such as requirements analysis, design, development, testing and support activities
- You will be developing workflow solutions to simplify process operations for our service centers
- You will get exposure to cutting tools & technology on business process automation and workflow management
- You will stay on top of current business and industry trends and explore next generation technologies such as machine learning, cognitive computing, intelligent system etc. and apply them in solving day to day business problems
- Delivering value to business
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying new process opportunities and accurately analyzing and estimating new processes, quickly assessing feasibility.
- Analyzing, understanding and documenting the business processes in detail where required.
- Identifying and communicating the technical infrastructure requirements.
- Designing process solutions in accordance with standard design principles and conventions.
- Writing the code using OOP 'nor' RPA tools , based on the blueprint provided by the clients and performing regular tests on the usability of the code
- Configuring new software (Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere or UiPath) processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
- Creating and maintaining documentation such as process definition and solution design documentation
- Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
- Mentoring colleagues through the software development life cycle.
- Debug programming code to find issues/errors on the application.
- Change and repair the code to restore the original functionality of application.
- Document changes on the system and design of new components to ensure their readability for future reference
- Test newly added functionalities to avoid errors on productive system
- Supporting the Operational Teams during the UAT and roll out phases
Qualifications Required
- University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in IT or Software Development
- Solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts (C#, Java, Python)
- Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
- Familiarity with version control concepts.
- Strong VBA scripting skills and Windows COM understanding required
- Strong knowledge of programming concepts is required (e.g. variables, loops, exception handling, loops, conditions, object orientation etc.)
- At least 3+ years of programming experience in .Net technology (C#, VB.Net, Windows programming)
- Prior experience with Automation SDK/Library (Sikuli, Selenium drivers, Auto IT, Microsoft UI automation framework etc.) is highly desirable
- Strong scripting skills and good understanding of APIs, presentation layer integrations, Screen scraping
- Windows Infrastructure setup (windows server, MS SQL, IIS, virtual desktop)
- Fast learning and well-developed analytical thinking, design thinking and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with Business Process Management technologies and solution
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred/Nice to have
- Familiarity with process improvement and transformation methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.
- Familiarity with waterfall and/or Agile delivery model
- Knowledge and experience in working with Robotic Tools (Automation Anywhere, Blueprism) is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Cognitive technologies (NLP, Machine Learning, digital assistance)
- Experience in programming in JavaScript/HTML DOM/SAP will be an asset
- Experience with Business Process Management tools, workflow management tools such as Service Now, Nintex, WorkflowGen, IBM BPM etc.
- Experience in working with Virtual Servers, Desktop Infrastructure such as Citrix, VMWare etc.
- Prior experience or interest in Machine Learning libraries in Java, Python or .Net
- Experience in working in a global environment
- Familiarity/experience with any of the following frameworks or methodologies: Agile methodologies, Lean software development, project management
