Verys, a West Monroe company is searching for a Software Engineer to join our team focusing on Salesforce in our Product Experience and Engineering Lab (PXEL) practice.
You will partner with our clients and other West Monroe team members on transformational projects in the areas of Sales, Service and Marketing solutions.
On client projects, you will work with a Technical Architect to gather technical requirements, define platform and integration design, and perform the configuration/development of the solution on the Salesforce platform.

**Qualifications**:
- You're smart, versatile, and passionate about delivering the highest caliber of code.
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in Software Engineering.
- Knowledge of Java 8 or newer.
Ideally, experience with Spring Boot, hibernate, MongoDB, Web Services, and Micro Services development.
- Experience working with a major cloud platform - AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- You are skilled with SQL.
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.
- Eagerness to understand the Salesforce platform (Sales, Service, Marketing).
- Proven ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent client-facing and oral communication skills.
- College degree, or equivalent experience required.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Development of software solutions across full lifecycle Agile projects - requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and rollout.
- Own the flexibility to be creative and have an impact on designs with a "blank slate" development mentality within the general boundaries of client expectations.
- Enjoy participating in all aspects of product development including generating ideas, prototyping and building solutions, talking to users, testing outcomes, and integrating learnings into future work.
- Want to learn new languages, paradigms, patterns, and frameworks.
- Enjoy using your creativity and resourcefulness to tackle unexpected challenges.
- Participate in technical design sessions; develop technical solution documentation aligned with the business objectives.
- Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation.
- Develop custom solutions and interfaces on top of the Salesforce platform.
- Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery.
- Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed.
- Provide estimates and work breakdown structures for assigned tasks.
- Absorb new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce during new product releases and acquisitions.
- Proficiency in English, verbal and written communication
