We are seeking a **Software Engineer II **to join our team. This is a remote opportunity based out of Costa Rica.
**Job Summary**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Performing full lifecycle activities: design, technology evaluation and most importantly coding
- Be able to adopt best practices
- Be able to work with UX and back-end teams
- Owning and driving use of common UI components for Imprivata's products
**Required Qualifications**
- 2 - 4 years of professional software development experience
- Experience working with: React & TypeScript
- Experience using Axios and Observables
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, Less and other libraries for developing intuitive User Interfaces
- Great understanding of UI design principles and best practices, including implementation of component libraries.
- Well versed in responsive design and up to date with web technologies.
- Experience solving cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Excellent problem solving, teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of GitHub.
- Good experience with using browser developer tools to troubleshoot issues.
**Desired Qualifications**
- Knowledge of cloud-deployed SaaS architectures and UI best practices
- Knowledge in developing Web APIs and Restful Web Services
- Familiarity with Ant Design Library
- Prior Healthcare experience (or strong motivation to work within the field)
