Job Description
As the Engineering and Quality organization of the HPE Software Supply Chain, we are committed to optimizing speed, efficiency, cost, quality, and delivery of all software solutions through the development, use, and proliferation of foundational processes and tools, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
+ Design, develop and/or implement portions of engineering solutions utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements
+ Execution of HPE SW SC delivery process for software media and licenses, including but not limited to: Supply Chain Plan of Record review, execution of software bit delivery process, electronic software delivery, Update Software Business, Not-for-Resale (NFR), demo, patches, internal delivery, WW Class submission and verification of lower-level parts, license entitlement setup, Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, artwork / document creation, regional factory processes, SW content verification, and first article inspection
+ Develops understanding of, and relationship with, internal and outsourced development partners on process development and implementation
+ Participates as a member of project team to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.
Education and Experience Required:
+ Bachelor's degree student ( 3rd or 4th year)in Industrial Engineering/Science
Knowledge and Skills:
+ Experience working on problems/projects of moderately complex scope
+ Fluent in spoken and written English
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Working knowledge in web management, including internet, intranet, and portal technologies
+ Experience with web delivery tools and processes
+ Experience with software manufacturing processes
+ Experience with software release process and distribution
+ General Product Engineering knowledge which includes product structure, setup, and delivery
+ Familiarity with Product Life Cycle
+ Familiarity with software standards, including versioning, ISO 9660 standards, and multi OS
+ Ability to exercise independent judgment to determine appropriate action
+ Ability to multitask
+ Ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision or guidance
+ Ability to effectively and creatively solve problems
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
+ Project management skills
