Manage fixed asset accounting and administration with a focus on compliance with Costa Rica's Free Zone Regime.
Ensure accurate asset lifecycle processes and support financial close and audit activities.
All actions align with corporate policies and regulatory standards, including PROCOMER and customs requirements.
Job duties: Maintain accurate records of acquisitions, disposals, transfers, impairments, and capitalizations.
Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies, free zone regulations, and J-SOX requirements.
Prepare monthly and quarterly capital expenditure reports.
Collaborate with project owners to monitor budgets and address variances.
Record transactions in statutory and corporate subledgers.
Reconcile discrepancies.
Validate depreciation calculations.
Manage the Costa Rica fixed asset subledger and construction-in-progress (CIP) accounts.
Lead or support periodic physical inventories.
Prepare and submit fixed asset data for PROCOMER reports and audits.
Contribute to monthly financial statements.
Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations related to fixed assets.
Coordinate asset transfers with corporate teams.
Support Concur expense reports and corporate credit card processes.
Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
