Sr Cybersecurity Analyst

Position Purpose: Contributes to the Cybersecurity team's service delivery.
Perform vulnerability assessment, scanning, penetration testing of internal and external systems, and management of attack surface tool.
Provides analysis of findings to project teams, operations staff, and management.
Communicates with both technical and business audiences, providing expert-level service and support regarding vulnerability and attack surface issues.
Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the security of information systems assets and information.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provides vulnerability assessment, monitor resolutions activity, and provide reporting- Evaluates existing software and hardware products, network architectures, and third-party services against known and emerging threats and common attack patterns-
- Collaborates with technical leads, architects, and analysts on evaluating new software products and solutions for security components, compliance, and functionality- Interfaces with business teams to provide technical leadership for security solutions and practices

Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment and Management and use of associated tools- Knowledge and practice of assessing attack surfaces- Knowledge of IT systems to include various cloud environments, Windows and Linux OS, and networking appliances-
- Understanding of implementing security public cloud technologies, particularly GCP and Azure-
- Strong problem resolution and determination skills for complex enterprise systems- Understanding of mitigating security controls and how they work in an overall defense in depth- Understanding of common threat actors, attack patterns, and the "kill chain" methodology- Ability to work independently without daily direction- Excellent customer service skills
- Cybersecurity is a service delivery platform to support the customer business- Strong written/oral communication skills- Coaching, support, and training of others in the areas of vulnerabilities and management- Contract negotiation skills with an emphasis on cybersecurity agreements is a plus- Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) practices- Certifications including CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.
