About the team: The C2C Seller Analytics team, sits within the NA Finance and Analytics organization, passionate about growing C2C Sellers business on eBay platform. We are looking to hire a strong Analytics Manager to support the NA C2C Seller Initiatives, based in San Jose, US. As an Analytics Manager in this team you will: Lead NA C2C Seller Analytics, including Seller Business performance and Seller Initiatives. Partner with business teams to understand road-map and strategy, proactively analyze business performance, and communicate your recommendations optimal and clearly Build relationships with regional executives (GM, CFO, CMO etc.) and their directs; Understand key business problems and turn them into data problems and demonstrate creativity by using existing eBay data to seek those problems Establish yourself as a leader with vision on Seller Analytics; continuously learning state-of-the-art analytical and statistical techniques to innovate for eBay using existing data assets Design, build and use models to size business cases and generate insights on how our sellers engage with the platform Coach and groom analysts to broaden thinking, scale their abilities and assume greater responsibilities Connect with broader eBay analytics community to leverage their expertise and to help improve analytics at eBay Job Requirements: Passionate about inspiring change through data driven insights Sound business judgment and quantitative analytic ability. Strong communication skills and experience distilling and presenting complex quantitative analysis. Good Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience with database query tools utilizing SQL and a basic understanding of data warehouse architecture are required Knowledge and experience of using data science techniques and statistical analysis Strong interpersonal skills including ability to present insights and recommendations persuasively. Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity. Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities Skill and confidence in dealing with people at all levels of the organization are essential.
