Requisition ID: SHA002145 Within the Global Business Services (GBS) GBS Digital organization, the incumbent is
responsible for ensuring the BPC COE operations activities in the forecasting
cycle for FP and A teams appropriately to optimize business transactions. The
incumbent will also provide operations solutions reviewing and analyzing system
and passive data governance reports to ensure high quality data and timely and
complete synchronization between systems. Acts to resolve all issues and
discrepancies as data stewards responsible for qualification, data analysis,
creation, modification and change control for LPT (Local Planning Tool) and BPC
Operations.
Main
Responsibilities:
Prepare
Financial Data for Month End Management Reporting and Planning
(Extraction and Retraction from BPC and
FP and A system tools)
Configuring and
Scheduling Data Manager packages through BPC and LPT (Local Planning Tool) for
Office.
Give support for
LPT and BPC Operations to the business, investigating and resolving problems
and inconsistencies and ensure that all the issues operations are being
addressing with the respective system responsible and business owner.
Perform Detailed
System/Reporting Analyses and Develop Functional and Technical
Specifications for Improvement
Reviews data
against the global data standards and when necessary country:specific and plant
data standards
Reviews and
analyzes system and passive data governance reports to ensure high quality data
and timely and
complete synchronization
between systems. Acts to resolve all issues and discrepancies.
Monitors and
analyzes master data for assigned business processes; ensures timely updates,
eliminates duplicate/obsolete data.
Analyzes data
feeds and reconciles reports which are critical to daily operations.
Ensure
operational oversight of data and FP and A tool, manage data quality, data
privacy, security and risk management, as well as ensuring the policies and
procedures.
Self:educate on
industry updates i.e. read industry publications, maintain personal networks,
participate in professional organizations, participate in educational
opportunities
Qualifications
Main requirements
Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
SAP BPC, LPT experience required
A minimum of four to five (3:5) years relevant work experience in business/data/operations/planning.
Four to five (3:5) years of Master Data Management experience or related
FP and A (Financial Planning and Analysis) experience
Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes including end:to:end process use of data and life:cycle of data (creation to use to inactivation).
Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Business Level fluency 90 (oral and written) in Spanish and English languages
Teamwork and collaborative focus, customer service oriented.
Ability to function in a high volume setting with tight deadlines
Attention to details with strong focus on data quality. Ability to identify root causes of errors and appropriate corrective actions.
